UPDATE 1-Germany nears 26.4 bln euro nuclear waste deal - Boersen-Zeitung

FRANKFURT, Sept 11 (Reuters) - Germany is close to agreeing

that the government will assume the liabilities of storing

private-sector nuclear waste in return for a 26.4 billion euro

($30 billion) cash payment, daily Boersen-Zeitung reported on
